Partnerships & Funding

Partnerships & Funding

Developing and sustaining partnerships is an integral part of AFENET’s operations in Africa and supporting Network countries to address public health priority problems.

AFENET works in partnership with several African Ministries of Health, academic institutions, government agencies, multilateral agencies, foundations, and corporations.

AFENET receives the bulk of its technical and financial support from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and its growing partner base provides both financial support and technical expertise to the Network programs and African governments.
